Your holiday will mainly be managed by  Katie Littlejohns. However during your stay you will also meet some of the friendly faces below!

I began running whilst studying for my A-Levels, completing my first Marathon age 20 in Jersey. Catching the marathon bug I went on to do Manchester then Bournemouth Marathon. Suffering a few niggles along the way I began to focus my running 'off road' to protect my body. I find off road running has strengthened my body and mind in different ways. I now continue to mix road and off road running and it has prepared me for even more success both with road and off road races. Completing the fell/trail Lirf course and my personal experience of Running on Dartmoor I am competent guide taking out groups of off-road runners most weekends. These are always extremely popular and enjoyable.

Mike is one of our most dedicated Dartmoor Running Holiday companions. A qualified Lirf, Mike boasts lots of experience with running both on road and his favourite play ground Dartmoor. Mike organises weekly weekend Runs on Dartmoor, on which he invites everyone. There is never a run that everyone can't enjoy and with regular looping, encouragement and good team spirit Mike always manages to keep the group together and a fantastic time is had by all! You will probably come across Mike during the stay as an extra pair of hands (or maybe even just for the cake at the end)! Runners always have a great time when Mike is around with his cool approach to the challenge and ease in which he completes all runs.

Colin has been a qualified Mountain Leader since 2008, and a level 3 sports instructor and therapist. He also has a level 5 diploma in teaching and instructing. However, his main passion is trail/fell running.

He has completed many of the top fell races in the country, including the self-navigating UK Mountain Trail in the Lake District, two Bob Graham rounds, the 105 mile Ultra Trail Du Mont Blanc in Europe and numerous Mountain Marathons which involve running and navigating in remote areas over two days. He has an in-depth knowledge of Dartmoor as a runner, walker and as a former Royal Marine Commando. Colin is only likely to join us on one of our day runs.
